Speakers

Shola Amoo

Shola studied at The National Film and Television School. His debut feature film, A Moving Image, had its World Premiere at The LA Film Festival 2016 in competition for the World Fiction prize, received The Special Recognition Award at The Blackstar Film Festival and  won the 2017 Screen Nation Award for the best independent production. Shola is currently developing a feature film called The Last Tree with the BFI.

Nadia Denton

Nadia has been working in the film industry for 13 years primarily as a Curator and Audience Development Specialist. In 2016 she presented a second edition of BEYOND NOLLYWOOD as part of the BLACK STAR season at the BFI Southbank. She has written two books which include and The Black British Filmmaker’s Guide to Success and The Nigerian Filmmaker’s Guide to Success: Beyond Nollywood. Currently, she is the UK Lead curator for the British Council Film Connections Programme.

Isioma Osaje

Isioma Osaje is the Founder & Creative Director of Agency 106 Talents & Company; a boutique firm which provides Talent Management and Agency services for practitioners in the Nigerian Film industry.

Isioma Osaje is also a budding film maker and has worked as a Producer on films like Something Wicked (February 2017), My Wife & I (August 2017), New Money (March 2018) and Maakate Must Sell (April 2018).

Mr. Henry Bassey

Henry Bassey is currently Chief Marketing Officer, Sterling Bank PLC. He is a seasoned marketing strategist and brand builder with strong leadership skills and over 20 years marketing communications experience in the competitive Nigerian, South African and UK markets.

His previous work experience span global consulting firms, Gallup Poll and Nielsen, as well Digibrands and Insight Communications (A Publicis groupe company) where he delivered market share growth for world-class organisations.
